The CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia’s deepest underground mines and is Australia’s highest-grade copper mine.

We’re seeking multiple experienced and safety-focused Service Crew Operators to join our underground mining team in Cobar.

As key members of the mining team, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services – keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

Roster:

This is a residential only position working on a 7/7 (days / nights) rotational roster.

Responsibilities:

- Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cabling





- Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems

- Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment

- Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed

- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas

What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in underground mining, preferably in a service crew role

- Sound knowledge of underground mine services and equipment

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling in a demanding underground workplace

- A team player with a commitment to safety and site procedures

- Current driver’s licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
