In this role, you will be responsible for boilermaker and welding work focused on machine rebuilds. Your duties will include completing tub and bucket rebuilds, fabricating parts and trays, and repairing panels, brackets, and frames to ensure structural integrity and optimal performance. This role is ideal for someone with a robust mechanical background and a passion for hands-on work in the field. The role is workshop based (Wangara) with the opportunity for onsite work.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, measure, and assess wear or damage on fabrication points of machinery
- Perform welding and machining repairs to restore equipment to OEM specifications
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Australian Recognized Boilermaker / Welder Trade Certificate
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with heavy mining equipment essential
- Able to work unsupervised, have good time management skills and meet scheduled deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Full Australian working rights
- Current HR drivers licence (mandatory)
- High risk forklift licence
