About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and results-driven Area Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering an attractive salary package, vehicle allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading national organisation.

This role is responsible for the overall management of multiple client sites throughout the Upper Hunter, Newcastle & Central Coast Regions, while also taking full operational responsibility for our Scone contract. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional service delivery, maintain strong client relationships, lead and develop teams, and drive operational performance across all allocated sites.

As part of this role, fortnightly visits to the Scone site are required to oversee operations, support staff, conduct audits, meet with clients and ensure compliance with company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations across multiple client sites throughout the Upper Hunter, Newcastle & Central Coast Regions.

- Take full operational ownership of the Scone site,



ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and company standards.

- Conduct fortnightly site visits to Scone to support operations, staff, compliance and client satisfaction.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive account management.

- Lead, mentor, and support site supervisors and cleaning teams to achieve high performance.

- Recruit, induct, train and develop employees in line with company standards.

- Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and performance reviews.

- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety legislation, company policies and client requirements.

- Monitor service delivery, labour costs and operational performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Manage staffing requirements, scheduling, and workforce planning across the region.

- Investigate and resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining exceptional customer service.

- Identify opportunities to expand services and support business growth within existing contracts.

- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records using company systems.

- Work closely with senior management to continually improve operational performance and client satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:





- Previous experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Site Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role within the commercial cleaning, facilities management, or property services industry.

- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.

- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

- Sound understanding of commercial cleaning operations and quality management systems.

- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

- Current unrestricted driver's licence.

- Willingness to travel throughout the Upper Hunter, Newcastle & Central Coast Regions, including fortnightly travel to the Scone site.
