About the role

Bertram & Co is seeking a Registered Conveyancer.

This is a full-time position based in Unley

Key responsibilities

1. Preparing Conveyancing documents including contracts of sale, form 1 vendor statements, transfer documents, mortgage documents, and settlement statements

2. Reviewing contracts and identifying potential issues, risks, and obligations for clients

3. Managing client communication throughout the conveyancing process, providing clear explanations of procedures

4. Coordinating with real estate agents, lenders, settlement agents, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions

5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation

6. Maintaining accurate and organised file management systems in accordance with practice standards

What we are looking for

1. Qualification as a Conveyancer

2. Current registration with the South Australia Conveyancing skilled body

3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

4. Proficiency with conveyancing software Realtime (preferable)

5. Ability to work independently whilst maintaining collaborative relationships with colleagues
