About the role
As a Branch Manager, you will lead the success of the branch by driving business growth, building strong Member relationships and creating a high‑performing team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role balancing business development, lending growth, operational excellence and community engagement. You will establish a strong local presence, build momentum in the market and deliver sustainable commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Drive branch growth through proactive business development and local engagement

- Generate, manage and convert lending opportunities across home, personal and small business lending

- Strengthen Member relationships through needs‑based conversations and portfolio growth

- Achieve deposit growth targets and improve portfolio performance

- Build community connections and referral networks to increase visibility and opportunities

- Lead day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring strong customer service, compliance and risk management

- Use performance insights to manage pipeline activity and improve outcomes





- Coach, support and develop team members to build capability and performance

About you

- Proven ability to drive business development and grow branch performance

- Strong understanding of retail banking products, lending and customer needs

- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coaching and developing others

- Strong commercial acumen with accountability for results

- Confident building networks and representing the bank in the local community

Required

- Experience leading a branch or similar customer‑facing team

- Established local community connections

- Proven track record in lending and portfolio growth

- Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action
