Neighbourhood Care is seeking experienced female Support Workers to join our self-managing team on the Gold Coast. This casual (or could be permanent part-time if you like?) role will see you providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, employment, and daily living skills
- Accompanying clients to social outings, and community activities & providing emotional support and companionship to ensure our clients' well being
- Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement personalised support plans and manage supports
- Maintaining detailed client records and following all relevant policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented care team
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Experience in or willingness to learn how to collaborate with your team to manage the support you deliver to clients.
