Role DescriptionThis is a part-time (2-4 days), in office Occupational Therapist role based in Success, WA. The Occupational Therapist will provide client-centered assessment, intervention, and therapy to neurodivergent children, young people, and adults in individual and group formats. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing evidence-based intervention plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals. The role involves contributing to workshops and group programs, recommending environmental and routine adaptations, and supporting clients’ participation in daily activities at home, school, work, and in the community.



The Occupational Therapist will also participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development to ensure best practice and alignment with a neurodiversity-affirming approach.
QualificationsStrong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and goal-directed therapy.Knowledge of neurodiversity, affirming principles, and related diagnoses relevant to neurodevelopmental and mental health needs.Experience or interest in paediatrics, including supporting children and young people in home, school, and community environments.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with clients, families, educators, and other professionals.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registrationCommitment to neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with good time management and organisational skills.Experience with report writing, documentation, and use of digital tools or telehealth platforms is beneficial.Previous experience working with neurodivergent clients (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning differences) is highly regarded.
