The ideal Power Generation Technician candidate should have a strong background in commercial & industrial electrical systems, with installation and maintenance of power and control system experience being essential.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

- Undertake current installation of power generation equipment - i.e. Diesel Generators, BESS, switchboards, and associated electrical equipment.

- Ensure compliance with electrical standards.

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an industrial and commercial electrical tradesperson

- Proven experience with installation & commissioning of technical electrical control systems using PLC's, varied communication protocols, analogue and digital signals.





- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, safety standards, and Electrical standards.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings.

- Willing to undertake project work which may require periods away from home in regional and remote locations.

- Unrestricted South Australian electrical workers license.

- Driver’s License

- White Card

- Must be Australian resident.

- Able to obtain WWCC and Police clearance.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of Dief & ComAp controllers

- Experience with diesel or gas generators, power generation, batteries, or renewables

- Solar accreditation (SAA)

- LVR / CPR
