About the role

Gudgee's Contractor Services is seeking a Professional Cleaner to join our growing team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Professional Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our clients' properties, ensuring they receive exceptional service that reflects our commitment to excellence in the cleaning industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising residential and commercial properties

2. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively

3. Follow established cleaning protocols and checklists to ensure consistent quality standards

4. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes

5. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management

6. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times

7. Dispose of waste materials responsibly and in accordance with environmental guidelines

8. Communicate effectively with clients and respond to specific cleaning requests or preferences

9. Ensure all health and safety requirements are met on site, including safe handling of chemicals

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in skilled cleaning services, ideally within residential and/or commercial environments

2. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results

3. Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work on your feet for extended periods

4. Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with excellent work ethic

5.



Ability to work independently and use initiative whilst remaining part of a supportive team

6. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

7. Competency in safely handling and using cleaning products and chemicals

8. Current drivers licence and own reliable transport to travel between properties

9. Flexibility to work various shifts if required

10. Working with Children Check (WWC) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting (if required for role)
