An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join the team for a Power Station outage with an immediate start required.
This is a major outage project with consistent hours, solid rates, and accommodation provided.
Roster:
- Monday to Saturday – 11-hour shifts
- Accommodation provided
The Role
You will be part of a structured shutdown crew working across fixed plant equipment within a Power Station environment. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Crusher Rebuilds
- Chain Feeder Rebuilds
Work will involve heavy mechanical tasks, structural fabrication, confined space entry, rigging support, and working at heights in an outage environment.
Requirements
- Trade Qualified Fitter
- Previous Power Station Experience (highly regarded)
- Minimum 2+ years of Power Station experience required
- Ability to pass D&A; test
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Current Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres Certificates
- Licence to Perform High Risk Work - Elevated Work Platform (EWP) & Basic Rigging (RB) a bonus
- Strong commitment to safety
