Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care while promoting the health, wellbeing, and independence of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health conditions.
- Provide wound care and dressing changes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate and support clients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with doctors and the multidisciplinary team.
- Follow infection control, workplace health and safety, and organisational policies.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when required.
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Assistants in Nursing (AINs),
and Support Workers where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check (if required).
- Current driver’s licence (if required for community roles).
