We're a small, local pest control business on the Mornington Peninsula, and we do things differently to the big corporates. No call centres, no endless KPIs, no being run into the ground with unrealistic service timings.

Our business is focused on delivering premium service to our customers, which means you're given the time on each job to do the service properly, without having to rush or cut corners. You'll deal directly with the owner, work with good gear, and be treated like a person whose life outside work actually matters.

We're looking for a reliable technician to join us on a part-time basis (around 3 days a week), focused on general pest control and pest exclusion (proofing) work. Hours are flexible and we're happy to shape them around the right person, including moving to more days or full-time down the track if that's what you're after.

The role

You'll be handling our general pest control and exclusion work across the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston and surrounding areas. Day to day, that looks like:

- Inspecting homes and businesses for pest activity and reporting on what you find

- Treating and managing general pests: ants, cockroaches, spiders, rodents, wasps, fleas, bird pests and the like

- Pest exclusion and proofing: finding entry points and sealing them, installing rodent proofing mesh, door seals and physical barriers to keep pests out for positive

- Safe handling, mixing, application and record-keeping of chemicals

- Looking after your vehicle,



equipment and gear

- Being the friendly, professional face of our company with our clients

This is a general pest role, with no termite or timber pest work involved (that's right, no subfloor termite inspections in peak summer).

What we're after

Essential:

- A current Victorian driver licence

- A current Pest Control Licence

- Reliability, a good attitude, and the ability to work unsupervised

- Comfortable dealing with customers, representing the business well, and communicating with people from a range of backgrounds

Nice to have:

- Existing general pest control experience across both residential and commercial

- Exclusion or proofing experience (rodent or bird proofing, sealing, basic handy skills)

- Local knowledge of the Peninsula

- Interest in rural pest control work

- Above-award pay: $70,000 to $75,000 pro rata (full-time equivalent) plus commission. Your total earnings grow as you do, with regular salary reviews.
