Boilermakers, Fabricators and Sheet Metal Workers are encouraged to apply!

- Permanent full time based at our Charlton Depot.
- The base wage for this role ranges from $2,702.96 to $2,973.22 gross per fortnight.
- With an additional $6.00 per hour Critical Worker Trade allowance, earn up to $3,429.22 gross per fortnight or $45.12 per hour (dependant on individual applicant qualifications and training).
- Plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

What you'll bring

- Trade certificate as a Boilermaker, Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker from a recognised tertiary institution.
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Working at Heights certificate, or if not held, must be obtained within six (6) months of commencement.
- Confined Spaces certificate, or if not held, must be obtained within six (6) months of commencement
- Current ‘C’ Class Manual Driver Licence.




- Experience working as a Boilermaker/Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker.

About Fleet & Logistics

The Fleet Workshop is a modern workshop facility that services and maintains Council assets ranging from small plant through to large earthmoving machinery.

The Fleet Maintenance team ensure that our internal customers and external stakeholders receive excellent customer service to ensure Council assets maintain their operational requirements with limited interruption to the service they provide.





The Fleet Maintenance Management section oversees the servicing and repair of all fleet assets in workshops located at Principal Depot, Pittsworth and Crows Nest as well as mobile service and repair units working from these workshops. Maintenance Management also coordinate and deliver metal fabrication services across the region.
