Practice Group Summary

Strategic Communications services include Corporate Communications, Financial and Transaction Communications, Investor Relations, Public Affairs and Campaigns, Crisis and Special Situations, and Research.

The Opportunity

We are seeking two experienced specialists to join our Perth team: one in a permanent capacity and one to provide 12-month maternity leave cover.

Key Responsibilities

- Be a vital part of the Perth-based and strategic communications team that manages a portfolio of client projects and accounts.
- Become a trusted partner for our clients by delivering strategic communications for their investor relations, M&A;, issues and crisis management, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement activities
- Gain exposure to other areas of the firm, including as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Represent clients professionally in direct stakeholder, media and investor engagement activities.




- Draft client collateral such as communication and IR strategy, investor presentations, ASX announcements, fact sheets, key messages, Q&As; and other stakeholder communications.
- Provide research support and coordinate client reports on market intelligence.
- Develop and replicate efficient account management disciplines.
- Demonstrate willingness for ongoing career development.
- Identify and deliver on opportunities that grow our business.
- Contribute to a collegiate and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing, communications or similar discipline.
- Experience in capital markets-facing client relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to analyse the market for business development opportunities.
- A results-oriented, pro-active, self-starter attitude and ability to perform well autonomously.
- Ability to execute day to day client deliverables, effectively managing your time and prioritisation of tasks.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with your work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing business and client needs.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience using social media channels desirable.
