The Barossa Co-op is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Coordinator - Membership to help shape and grow our Member Partner Program and membership engagement strategy.

This is an exciting part-time opportunity to combine business development, stakeholder engagement, marketing collaboration and data-driven decision making in a role that directly contributes to strengthening connections across the Barossa community.

This role will play a key role in expanding our membership offering, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing the member experience through innovative programs and technology solutions.

About the Role

As our Business Development Coordinator - Membership, you will:

- Grow and manage the Business-to-Business Member Partner Program, including partner identification, negotiation and relationship management




- Support membership acquisition, engagement and loyalty through VIP initiatives, campaigns, promotions, events and communications
- Collaborate with Marketing and IT to improve member technology, digital experiences, CRM processes and database management
- Analyse membership data and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Coordinate the new Member Advisory Group and ensure initiatives align with privacy, governance and regulatory requirements

About You

You are a proactive relationship builder who enjoys connecting people, identifying opportunities, and delivering meaningful outcomes.

You'll bring:

- Experience in business development, sales, customer relationship management, marketing or a similar field
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Membership, Communications or a related discipline (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and analytical capability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with databases, CRM systems and reporting tools
- A customer and member-first mindset
- High attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Experience developing partnerships or loyalty/membership programs (desirable)
