As a Client Service Officer, you will play an important role in supporting our Financial Advisers while ensuring clients receive a high level of service throughout every stage of the advice process.
You will manage client administration, support advice implementation, assist with workflow management and work closely with experienced team members to further develop your knowledge and career within financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client onboarding, implementation and ongoing service requirements.
- Prepare and process Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), Fee Consent Forms and associated documentation.
- Accurately implement financial advice recommendations in a timely manner.
- Liaise with product providers regarding applications, transfers, rollovers, underwriting and policy servicing.
- Maintain accurate client records within XPLAN while ensuring compliance obligations are met.
- Support advisers with review preparation, client servicing and workflow coordination.
- Manage your workflow effectively to ensure client files progress in a timely manner.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency across the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1-3 years' experience in a Client Services or Client Relationship role within Financial Planning (or equivalent industry experience).
- A sound understanding of the financial planning advice process.
- Insurance experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- XPLAN experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with advisers, clients and product providers.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
