The Hedland Hotel operates with a solid volume of business. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tiler to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes across a range of commercial projects.
You will be responsible for wall and floor tiling, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around edges and fixtures
- Lay tiles in accordance with plans and design specifications
- Apply grout and sealants to ensure durability and finish quality
- Repair and replace damaged tiles as required
- Maintain tools and ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades
Skills & Experience
- Transparent verbal communication skills
- Ability to read plans and follow specifications
- Knowledge of waterproofing and surface preparation techniques
- Experience working on commercial or residential sites
- Ability to perform manual work including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Salary between $79,499 and $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
