We're a fast-growing Australian tax and accounting firm building a modern, client-focused business, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Appointment Setter to become the first point of contact for our new clients.
This role is perfect for someone who loves talking to people, building relationships, and keeping things organised. You'll be speaking with warm leads who have already expressed interest in our services, gathering the information we need, following up on outstanding documents, and booking appointments with our accountants.
No cold calling is required, your focus is helping prospective clients through the onboarding process and ensuring they have an exceptional experience from their very first interaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Calling warm leads who have enquired about our accounting and tax services.
- Building rapport and understanding each client's needs.
- Following up with clients via phone, email, and SMS to request required information and documents.
- Booking appointments between clients and our accountants.
- Keeping accurate notes and updating our CRM system.
- Ensuring clients have everything ready before their appointment.
- Working closely with our accountants and support team to provide a seamless client experience.
- Following up with prospective clients who haven't yet booked or completed their onboarding.
How We Work

- We provide warm inbound leads, your job is to nurture them through to their appointment.
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A confident and friendly phone manner.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to build trust and make clients feel comfortable.
- Comfortable following up with clients and keeping conversations moving.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience using CRMs or customer management software is highly regarded.
Nice to Have
- Experience in appointment setting, customer service, sales support, or client success.
- Experience working within an accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or professional services business.
- Basic understanding of Australian tax or accounting (not essential—we'll provide training).
