Adelaide
- Location209 Fullarton Rd, Eastwood, SA, 5063, Australia
- Job CategorySarah Group Holdings
- Employee TypeFull Time
Description
- Highly successful SA business with a strong brand and reputation
- Industry-leading benefits including a dedicated health and wellbeing program
- Join the Risk team for a diversified construction and property group
Sarah Group is a diversified construction and property group, leading a collective of companies with a strong reputation across the industry.
Established in 1961, we’re driven by a commitment to deliver exceptional experiences and create distinctive value. At the heart of everything we do is our purpose to build thriving and sustainable communities.
We're looking for a Senior Analyst – Risk to take a hands-on role in building out our risk management capability. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who wants real ownership over how risk practices are designed and embedded — not just maintaining an existing framework but helping shape what it becomes.
Reporting to the Head of Risk and Special Projects, you'll work closely with risk owners across the business to strengthen how risk is identified, monitored, and reported, while also contributing to broader risk improvement projects and business improvement initiatives across the Group.
The Role
- Partner with risk owners across the business to understand how risks are being managed and identify opportunities to strengthen these practices
- Maintain and update the enterprise risk register, including tracking controls, mitigations, and emerging risks
- Support risk assessments with stakeholders across operational, financial, reputational, strategic, and compliance domains
- Support the rollout of the organisation's Risk Appetite Statement, including developing and reporting on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk tolerances
- Update and maintain the Crisis Management Plan and Business Continuity Plan
- Support the drafting and review of risk-related policies and procedures
- Help promote a proactive risk culture through training, coaching, and business engagement
- Contribute to risk-related projects and initiatives that improve the organisation's overall risk framework
- Get involved in broader business improvement projects across the Group, working alongside other teams to identify and implement operational efficiencies
- Prepare clear, practical risk reporting for stakeholders and leadership, including input into board and committee packs
Requirements
About You
- Experience in risk management, compliance or internal audit
- Confident working autonomously and comfortable taking initiative
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills — comfortable working directly with risk owners across different parts of the business
- A practical, hands-on approach,
with the ability to move between strategic frameworks and day-to-day execution
- Strong written communication skills
- Curious and improvement-minded, keen to get involved in projects that streamline how the business operates, not just risk-specific work
Our Unique Value
- Alongside a high-performing team within a great working environment, we offer the following:
- Up-to-date office located five minutes from the Adelaide CBD, in Eastwood
- Generous leave entitlements including additional leave, volunteer leave, and paid parental leave
- Initiatives to drive a connected and collaborative team culture
- Internal training organisation and bespoke development programs
- Professional development and training allowance
- Regular team social events and casual Fridays
- Salary continuance insurance
- Access to Novated Lease agreements
In addition, our Health & Wellbeing Program includes:

- Ergonomic workstations
- Bi-monthly massages
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Specialist wellbeing support
