This role provides expert advice and formulates policy within the organisation to ensure the effective and efficient service delivery of private practice within a public setting.

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Manager (Private Practice) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Implement, monitor and review the effectiveness of areas participating in Granted Private Practice
- Ensure obligations relating to Granted Private Practice arrangements are met, including the end of month disbursement process
- Establish, implement, monitor and review financial and information systems that support business service continuity and growth
- Supervise and manage staff in line with quality contemporary human resource practices and policies

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded

Salary

- Temporary full time (up to six months, with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $$4,814.50 - $5,157.20 per fortnight

The Private Practice department provides billing support, training and advice, processing of billing to Medicare, Department of Veteran Affairs and Health funds, claim management and reporting.
