We are seeking a Lab Technician to support quality assurance, laboratory testing, logistics, and administrative functions at our Geraldton mining operations. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys variety and working across both laboratory, warehouse and office environments.

About the Role

Reporting to site management, you will assist with routine laboratory testing and QA/QC activities while also supporting dispatch coordination, freight, documentation, and general administration. The role is aligned to the Mining Industry Award 2020 and offers employment within an established operation.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory & QA/QC Support

- Assist with routine laboratory testing, sampling, and analysis
- Support QA/QC procedures in line with site requirements and Australian Standards
- Maintain accurate test records and assist with Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping, chemical storage, and equipment calibration support
- Prepare samples for storage and transportation

Administration & Logistics Support

- Assist with coordinating daily dispatches and transport arrangements




- Liaise with transport providers regarding deliveries, damages, and schedules
- Organise and maintain logistics, freight, and QA documentation
- Support stock reconciliations and dispatch paperwork

General & Site Support

- Assist with local sales enquiries, product collections, and site enquiries
- Support audits, reporting, and general site administration
- Comply with all site safety, OHS, and environmental requirements

About You

- High attention to detail with strong record-keeping and numeracy skills
- Comfortable working across both laboratory, warehouse and office environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a site team
- Robust safety awareness and willingness to learn

Desirable (but not essential):

- Laboratory testing
- Administration or logistics coordination experience
