This position is full-time located at Smithton, with 1 day per week in the Burnie Office, assisting with Burnie Parent Pathways caseload.
The Impact You'll Make
As a Mentor in our Parent Pathways team, you'll be more than a mentor—you'll be a trusted partner in someone's journey. You'll help parents from diverse backgrounds uncover their strengths, navigate challenges, and take meaningful steps toward employment, education, and community engagement. Your work will directly shape brighter futures for families in the Smithton region.
What You'll Do
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and group sessions to support parents and carers in building job readiness skills.
- Assist participants in developing personalised future plans, from career pathways to training opportunities.
- Connect families with local services, community activities, and support networks.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports to ensure tailored, effective support.
- Collaborate with a passionate, supportive team to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
