Kilmore Veterinary Practice is a locally owned, well-established small-animal clinic seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We're known in the community for thorough, compassionate, and consistent patient care and we're looking for someone who shares that standard.

The Role
You'll work closely with our vets and reception team across general practice, surgical and anaesthetic nursing, with genuine variety day to day.

- Surgical and anaesthetic patient nursing

- Patient monitoring, treatment administration, and clinical documentation

- Assisting consultations and running nurse appointments

- Maintaining theatre, equipment, and sterilisation to a high standard

- Reception duties — client communication and scheduling

- Keeping the clinical environment protected, clean, and organised

Pay
Starting at $32.93/hr, reviewed based on performance and skills. Negotiable.

Hours
Clinic hours are Monday to Friday. One late (8pm)



finish is required per week on a Tuesday or Thursday. No overnights, after-hours or weekends. Part-time hours available between 28–35 hrs/week.

About You
We care more about capability than years in the industry. You'll suit this role if you have:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (strong, recently-qualified candidates encouraged to apply — experience is valued but not the deciding factor)

- Solid clinical knowledge and genuine interest in ongoing development

- Excellent communication with both clients and the team

- A calm, mature, and compassionate approach under pressure

- Strong organisational skills and reliability
