About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where organisation, clarity, and accountability matter, success is a well-run organised and predictable site. Trades know what’s expected and are prepared, projects seamlessly move forward under your leadership.

Responsible for a team of 4 you will be the go to for all site needs. From reading and understanding the plans, to communicating this to your team and leading them to a successful outcome, the buck stops with you. This is a outstanding opportunity for an emerging leader that is known for having a great way with people, both with your team clients, other tradies on site, and a strong sense of ownership and pride to see projects through to the end.

Exposure to good project management is essential, a knowledge of how to execute projects on time, on budget, and to our excellent standards is a must. As with any project, solutions focus is a key skill this team are looking for.

Main Duties

- Lead with clarity, integrity and consistency.

- Communicate well with your team, clients and management.

- Manage build program, quality, safety, cost and timelines

- Ensure site safety is the forefront

- Proactively identify and resolve issues early

- Train and guide team members

Qualifications & Skills

- Solutions focused leadership

- 5+ years carpentry experience

- Carpentry Trade Certificate (Cert III essential)

- Proven experience in residential construction with strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site management, including proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and specifications

- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure

- Computer skills (project management software, email, reporting)
