RECRUITMENT ADVISOR | Mining | Adelaide SA | Permanent or Contract

We are looking for more than just a Recruiter, someone who is passionate about recruiting and broader talent pool building and management within the industry.

At REX Minerals we genuinely care about the people we bring into our business and the communities we operate in. We are after someone who shares that, someone who knows the industry, and gets excited about opening doors for local people into real careers in mining

You will own our recruitment function end to end, working closely with our People and Culture Manager across our Adelaide office and our Hillside operational site on York Peninsula. We carry around 8 to 12 active roles at any time, and these are complex, in-depth positions that need genuine thought and real candidate relationships, not just someone who moves fast and fills seats.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

- Running end-to-end recruitment across Adelaide and Hillside, from brief through to commencement

- Working with our P&C; Manager on a 90-day hiring outlook and contributing to longer term workforce planning

- Managing direct campaigns on SEEK and LinkedIn and coordinating with external agencies for senior roles where needed

- Owning candidate communication throughout the whole process, first contact all the way through to Day One

- Keeping our recruitment tracker accurate and up to date

- Review our existing EOI database as a source of talent.

- Liaising with our Leadership Team on org structure and headcount





- Keeping our stakeholders informed with explicit and regular updates

- Getting involved in local sponsorships, VET partnerships and school and university campaigns to help bring the next generation into our industry

- Representing us at employment events at Uni Open Days and recruitment events on York Peninsula and in the local community

- Occasional overnight travel to our York Peninsula site when required

We are open to permanent or long-term contract for the right person.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must haves:

- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Right to Work in Australia

What else matters to us:

- 5 or more years in a recruitment role, in-house or agency background both considered

- Genuine experience sourcing candidates proactively through SEEK and LinkedIn

- A background in mining, energy, engineering or a technical environment, this one really does matter for us

- Comfortable working across systems and helping build better processes as we grow

- Solid Microsoft Office skills
