About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of participants across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, providing high-quality behaviour support services that improve quality of life and build the capacity of participants and their support networks.
Your role will include:
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Developing Interim and Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Providing behaviour support to participants, families and support teams.
- Delivering education and training to stakeholders.
- Collecting and analysing behavioural data.
- Building positive relationships with participants and service providers.
- Maintaining high-quality documentation in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards.

About You
You'll ideally be someone who:
- Is registered as a Core, Proficient or Advanced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is passionate about improving the lives of people with disability.
- Enjoys working independently while also being part of a supportive team.
- Is organised, reliable and professional.
- Values building long-term relationships with participants and stakeholders.

Performance Expectations
Our practitioners are supported to maintain an average of approximately 28–30 billable hours per week, including:
- Direct participant supports
- Report writing
- Indirect participant work
- Stakeholder collaboration
- Claimable travel time
- Other billable NDIS activities
This approach allows our team to achieve a healthy balance between delivering exceptional participant outcomes, producing high-quality clinical work and maintaining work-life balance.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core, Proficient or Advanced).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
