About the Role AMIGA Montessori Maddingley is seeking a passionate and caring Assistant Educator to join our team in a full-time position.
Working alongside the Room Leader and educator team, you will help provide a warm, engaging and child-centred learning environment while supporting the delivery of our Montessori-inspired educational program.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Supporting children’s routines, development, wellbeing and individual needs
- Assisting with observations, learning documentation and room planning
- Maintaining safe, clean and inviting learning environments
- Supporting active supervision and child-safe practices
- Working collaboratively with the Room Leader and wider centre team
- Following the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Encouraging children’s independence through Montessori-inspired practices
- Participating in professional development, team meetings and centre events

About You To be successful in this role, you will:





- Hold a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing
- Be warm, reliable, respectful and enthusiastic
- Communicate positively with children, families and colleagues
- Be willing to learn about and embed Montessori principles
- Work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Hold or be willing to obtain current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

Previous experience in an early childhood education and care environment is highly regarded.

Child Safety and Compliance Successful applicants will be required to complete reference checks and provide:

- A current Working with Children Check
- Evidence of their approved qualification
- Proof of their right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Any other required child safety and employment documentation
