About the role
We are seeking an experienced Attraction Manager to join our team at Paradise Karts in Surfers Paradise. This is a hands on full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and strategic success of our attraction. As Attraction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth. This is an integral leadership position within our operation.
Key responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations of the attraction, including staff scheduling, guest services and facility maintenance
2. Manage financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control
3. Recruit, train, supervise and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
4. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visitor numbers and enhance brand awareness
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements at all times
6. Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback mechanisms and implement improvements based on insights
7. Maintain attraction facilities and equipment to the highest standards
8. Liaise with suppliers,
contractors and external partners to support operational needs
9. Report on performance metrics and key performance indicators to senior management
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in attraction management, preferably in a go karting environment
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience recruiting and developing staff
- Demonstrated ability to drive guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards
- Knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements in the attraction industry
- Strong marketing and sales experience to drive visitor numbers and revenue generation
- Problem-solving capability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn relevant computer systems and operational software applications
- Current driver's licence (preferred)
