Hiring Cafe Manager
Mylk Bar are currently seeking enthusiastic & self-motivated hospitality professionals to expand our current team. With 4 locations in the City, North Adelaide & Hindmarsh we are looking for people who are passionate about hospitality.
Cafe Manager about the role:
- Daily operations: manage daily service, ensure cleanliness, oversee equipment maintenance, and enforce health/safety/hygiene standards.
- Staff Management: train, schedule, supervise, and mentor staff; handle performance issues and create a positive culture.
- Customer Experience: resolve complaints, gather feedback, build customer loyalty, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Finance & inventory: control expenses, manage cash, process payments, order stock, manage deliveries, track inventory & minimize waste.
- Marketing: implement strategies to attract and retain customers, promote specials, and build community engagement.
- Compliance: ensure all staff are up to compliance with RSA & Food Safety and the venue complies with LGO.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent staff management & coaching skills
- Effective decision making
- Experience in managing labour costs
- Holds a current RSA & RP badge
- Excellent grooming & presentation
- Attention to detail
- Food safety supervisor certificate & first aid certification (preferred)
The successful candidates will support and assist our management team in day-to-day operations of the venue with a high focus on customer experience and positive team culture.
Full time options available with a competitive salary negotiable based on experience. Availability across a 7-day roster required. Must be eligible to work in Australia.
