Employment Type: Part-time / Full-timeAbout Kindara AUKindara AU is an NDIS registered provider focused on empowering participants to achieve their goals, exercise choice and control, and access the supports they need to live meaningful lives.We are looking for an experienced and passionate NDIS Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach to join our team.About the RoleThe Support Coordinator will assist NDIS participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans, connect with appropriate services, build capacity and achieve their personal goals.You will work collaboratively with participants, families, providers, allied health professionals and community organisations.Key Responsibilities

- Provide Support Coordination and Recovery Coaching services to NDIS participants
- Assist participants to understand their NDIS plans and funding categories
- Support participants to identify goals and develop action plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families and stakeholders
- Coordinate services with allied health professionals and support providers
- Assist participants to access mainstream, community and funded supports
- Monitor participant plan budgets and utilisation
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation
- Prepare progress reports and reviews where required
- Support participant choice, control and independence




- Identify risks and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies

Essential Requirements

- Experience working within the NDIS sector
- Understanding of NDIS legislation, processes and funding categories
- Strong case management and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple participants and competing priorities
- Solid report writing and documentation skills
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania)
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport

Qualifications (Desirable)

- Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Mental Health Peer Work qualification
- Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related qualifications
