We are currently seeking an experienced Line Marker / Long Line Driver to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who already has line marking experience, is confident working outdoors in a roadwork environment, and is willing to travel regularly for work. We are away often, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the road, can be flexible with travel, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work as part of a hardworking crew.

About the role

As part of the Lined Australia team, you will be involved in delivering road marking projects across a variety of sites throughout Queensland and interstate when required. You will work across line marking, long line driving and traffic control duties, helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Marking and painting lines, symbols and other road markings on roadways, car parks and public spaces

- Operating long line marking vehicles and associated equipment

- Carrying out traffic control duties where required

- Ensuring all markings are clear, accurate and completed to required safety and quality standards

- Maintaining, cleaning and caring for line marking equipment and vehicles

- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors and clients on site

- Following all safety procedures, site requirements and company guidelines

- Assisting the wider crew with project works as required





We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in line marking, with long line experience highly regarded

- Willing and able to travel regularly and work away from home when required

- Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused

- Able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

- Able to work well in a team and lead the rest of the team when needed

- Committed to producing neat, accurate and high-quality work

- Flexible to work hours required by the job, including early starts, night works or weekends when needed

Requirements:

- Previous line marking experience

- White Card

- Traffic Controller tickets

- Robust communication skills

- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

Preferred but not mandatory:

- MR or HR truck licence

- Long line road marking experience

- Experience working on roadwork or civil projects

- Additional industry tickets or machinery experience
