Receptionist (Part-Time) | Greencross Vets Caloundra | Sunshine Coast, QLD

At Greencross Caloundra, we're looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our welcoming team on a part-time basis (approximately 3 days per week, minimum 15 hours per week).

As the first friendly face our clients see and the last person they speak to before leaving, our Reception Team plays a vital role in creating a warm, supportive, and memorable experience for every pet and pet owner who walks through our doors.

We're looking for an experienced Receptionist to become a true pillar of our clinic, building relationships with clients, supporting our clinical team, and making a real difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.

About the Role

This is a part time Receptionist position, offering approximately 3 days per week (minimum 15 hours per week).

You'll be the heart of the client experience and an important part of keeping the clinic running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting clients and patients on arrivalAnswering phone calls and managing enquiriesBooking appointments using our practice management systemProcessing payments and managing receiptingManaging client emails and correspondencePreparing patient admission paperworkCompleting general administrative dutiesAssisting with patient triage (training provided)Providing general advice regarding vaccinations, nutrition, and parasite preventionPreparing estimates for elective proceduresSupporting the veterinary and nursing teams with day-to-day clinic operationsThis is a varied and rewarding role where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

About You

We're looking for someone who:





Has previous experience in a reception, administration, or customer service roleUnderstands the importance of creating a positive first impressionEnjoys building genuine relationships with clientsHas experience working with animals (highly regarded but not essential)Is confident using computer systems and learning new softwareHas excellent organisational and time management skillsCan manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressureIs reliable, accountable, and enjoys being part of a teamCommunicates clearly, professionally, and empatheticallyTakes initiative and enjoys helping othersMost importantly, you're someone who genuinely cares about people and pets and enjoys creating exceptional client experiences every day.
