As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our Head Office branch in Belmont, WA.

About the Role
This is not a sit-back management role.
As Branch Manager, you will own the performance of the Belmont branch—leading your team, driving operational excellence, and actively growing the business.
You’ll oversee both front-of-house customer service and workshop operations, ensuring the branch runs efficiently while delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience.
You’ll also play a key role externally—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and representing Chalkwest in the local community and business network.
This role offers a high level of autonomy and suits a proactive leader who takes initiative, drives standards, and delivers results.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a team across customer service and workshop operations
- Create a strong, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Ensure clear expectations, consistent standards, and ongoing feedback
Operations & Fleet Management
- Own the day-to-day performance of the branch, including service delivery and efficiency
- Maximise fleet availability through strong coordination between front counter and workshop
- Oversee vehicle utilisation, maintenance scheduling, and turnaround times
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards,
and regulatory requirements
Business Growth & Community Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market
- Attend relevant networking events and represent Chalkwest in the community
- Drive local initiatives to increase revenue, utilisation, and customer retention
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Take accountability for branch performance, including revenue and operational outcomes
- Monitor results, set targets, and implement improvements
- Identify process gaps and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality
- Contribute to fortnightly management meetings with insights, updates, and ideas
What Success Looks Like
- The branch consistently meets or exceeds revenue and utilisation targets
- Strong local relationships generate repeat and referral business
- The team is engaged, accountable, and performing at a high level
- Fleet availability is optimised with minimal downtime
- Customers receive a reliable, high-quality experience every time

Experience in car rental, automotive, or fleet-based operations is highly regarded.
