Inspire, Lead & Make a Difference

Are you the leader that others naturally turn to for guidance?

At Kin Early Learning Centres, we're not looking for someone to simply run a room.

We're looking for someone who can inspire a team, build genuine relationships with children and families, think critically about practice, and help create a culture where everyone continues to learn.

If you are an experienced educator who enjoys mentoring others, values high-quality early education and believes leadership starts with relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

About Us

Kin Early Learning Centres operates two beautiful services in Queanbeyan, where quality, relationships and continuous improvement are at the centre of everything we do.

We believe children deserve educators who are curious, reflective and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences. We believe educators deserve leaders who invest in their growth, support new ideas and genuinely care about their wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Lead Educator you will:

- Lead and mentor a team of educators.

- Create engaging learning environments inspired by children's interests.

- Build strong partnerships with families.

- Guide curriculum planning, documentation and critical reflection.

- Foster a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture.

- Support continuous improvement and contribute to our Quality Improvement Plan.

- Champion child safety and best practice every day.

This is a leadership role where your ideas are valued and your influence will shape the experiences of both children and educators.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early childhood setting.

- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework,

National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.

- Strong communication and coaching skills.

- Confidence in mentoring educators and providing constructive feedback.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead by example.

- A genuine commitment to child safety and high-quality practice.

- Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher qualification (or working towards where applicable).

Why Join Kin?

At Kin you'll be joining a leadership team that believes in investing in people.

We offer:

- Ongoing qualified learning and leadership development.

- Regular Lead Educator networking and coaching.

- Genuine opportunities for career progression.

- Supportive, approachable leadership.

- Above-award wages based on experience.

- Paid professional development.

- Well-resourced environments.

- A positive team culture where your contribution is recognised and celebrated.

This role is perfect for someone who...

✔ Loves coaching and supporting others.

✔ Wants to work in a service focused on quality rather than simply compliance.

✔ Enjoys critical reflection and continuous improvement.

✔ Wants to be part of a leadership team that values clear communication, collaboration and respect.

If you're ready to step into a role where you can genuinely influence practice and make a lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now and tell us why you'd be a great addition to the Kin team. Send a cover letter and resume to *******@kinelc.com.au
