About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist at Little Sparrows Therapy, you'll manage a varied caseload across clinic, school, and community settings, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and a direct mentor with 1 on 1 weekly mentoring.
You'll have the freedom to shape your clinical interests, whether in AAC, literacy, speech sound disorders, or early language. All while growing your skills through collaborative practice and 1-on-1 skilled mentoring from a senior speech pathologist.
This role suits a Speech Pathologist who is looking to join a close-knit team that values collaboration and lifelong learning.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver assessment and intervention for clients with speech, language, and communication needs. Caseload is 80% paediatric and 20% Adult.
- Build strong relationships with families and educators to support meaningful outcomes for all clients under your care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support staff to deliver holistic care
- Contribute to team case reviews, clinical projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage your own schedule with flexibility and support from an amazing client support team
- Participate in in-house mentoring and fortnightly training seminars to enhance your clinical skills and professional development
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility for or current practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Good clinical reasoning, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Driver's licence & reliable car for school or community visits
- Working with Children's Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
