The Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) works across the Eneabba Refinery project
- Lead and supervise site crews to ensure safe, effective and high‑quality execution
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, engineering specifications and project schedules
- Conduct site inspections and verify work meets engineering and client requirements
- Identify and resolve on‑site issues to maintain productivity and minimise delays
- Assist with planning and sequencing of SMP works to optimise resources
- Maintain accurate daily records, progress updates and incident reporting
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold Civmec’s values across all site activities

About You





- Proven experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry
- Trade qualification in Pipefitting or Boilermaking (highly regarded)
- Experience overseeing piping installation, commissioning and structural/mechanical assembly
- Background supervising fabrication and installation of pressure vessels, tanks and structural steel
- S26 Certification
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
- A commitment to safety, quality and performance
