About the Role

As an Environmental Services team member, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, laundry services and general hotel services support, ensuring our residents experience the highest standard of care and comfort.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to following established procedures and infection prevention practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean resident rooms, common areas, clinical spaces and staff facilities to a high standard.

- Follow infection prevention and control procedures, cleaning schedules and organisational policies.

- Perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and personal clothing.

- Safely collect and dispose of waste in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.

- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment in good working order.

- Identify and report maintenance issues,



hazards or safety concerns.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistently high standard of presentation across the service.

About You

You will bring:

- Experience in cleaning, hospitality or environmental services (experience within healthcare or aged care is highly regarded).

- A sound understanding of hygiene and infection prevention principles.

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- The ability to follow procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- A positive, respectful and resident-focused approach.

- Commercial cooking or hospitality experience (highly desirable).
