Earthworks Civil & Construction is a family-owned and operated civil construction company based in Echuca, delivering a diverse range of projects across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales.
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Foreman to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in delivering quality work, supporting their crew and keeping projects running safely and efficiently.
The role will involve:
- Supervising and coordinating site crews, subcontractors, plant and materials
- Planning daily activities and allocating work
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
- Ensuring works comply with safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Monitoring project progress and communicating with Project Managers
- Completing site records, diaries, timesheets and quality documentation
- Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise
- Operating plant or assisting the crew when required
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Supervisor or leading hand in civil construction
- Experience in earthworks, road construction, drainage, pipelines and concrete works
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to read plans, set out works and coordinate site activities
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- A current driver’s licence and Construction Induction Card
- Relevant plant tickets and qualifications
- The flexibility to travel or work away when required
