As the Demand Planner you will partner with the Sales and Operational teams at Regency Park and our National Teams for Integrated Packaging, working closely with them to develop accurate demand-based sales forecasts.
You will be an expert at using forecasting & D365 software, fine tuning using your commercial acumen and adding intelligence to the forecast through your business partnering skills. The forecasts that you develop will integrate with the Sales and Operational business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilise your analytical skills to drive the company's success in meeting customer demand while minimising excess inventory
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Working with the forecast software tool (Forecast Manager) in collaboration with ERP system D365
- Managing the quality of the data coming in and out of the software (data validation, forecast accuracy measuring)
- Generating various business reports based on Forecast/Budget/Sales for various stakeholders including Senior Management, Sales and Supply Chain
- Running of weekly demand review/S&OP; process
- Firming of Production Orders based on MTO & Forecast data in D365
- Raising Purchase Orders based on demand in D365
- Raising Transfer Orders based on demand in D365
- Liaising with Sales & Operation team to meet customer demands
- Import/Export processing of PO’s & shipping documents
- Managing stocks so we keep within our stock holding tolerances
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Advanced systems and analyst capability and experience with MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Previous experience in Demand Planning within manufacturing, pharmaceutical or food industry preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Problem solving /analytical skills
- High level attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes
- Ability to collaborate
