Parts Interpreter

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and organised Parts Interpreter to support our Townsville operation. You will identify and source parts, assist in establishing our expanded parts hub within the Townsville facility, manage stock and orders, and provide outstanding service to internal teams and external customers. This full time role offers stability, variety, and the opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth and development of our Townsville parts function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Parts Operations: Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor product movement, and ensure all transactions are processed correctly.

- Inventory Control: Support stocktakes, maintain system accuracy, and keep the store organised and audit ready.

- Sales & Customer Service: Prepare quotes and orders, provide counter service, and give transparent, timely advice on availability, lead times, alternatives, and product suitability.

- Workflow Support: Ensure parts availability for workshop, field service, and external customers, including urgent requirements.

- Warehouse & Site support: Assist with warehouse setup within the Townsville facility and perform tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching parts.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure parts handling, storage, transport, and disposal meet WHS and environmental standards, including correct use of SDS and safe manual handling.

- Systems & Records: Maintain accurate digital records and contribute to improvement across inventory and procurement processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

- Experience in parts interpreting,



warehousing, or inventory support, ideally within heavy equipment or industrial environments.

- Strong customer service and communication skills with confidence in supporting internal teams and external customers.

- Ability to accurately identify parts and interpret technical information.

- Excellent attention to detail, sound organisation skills, and consistent follow through on tasks.

- Experience with inventory/parts systems (Unleashed or similar beneficial) and Microsoft 365.

- Current Drivers Licence.
