JD RIGGING & CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD' is seeking experienced Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Riggers to join our team based in High Wycombe, WA. As a full time member of our crew, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of equipment and materials on various construction sites.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely sling, lift, and position loads using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
2. Inspect and maintain rigging gear and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
3. Work alongside site supervisors and crane operators to coordinate lifting activities
4. Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a secure work environment
5. Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings to continuously improve processes
6. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks as needed
What we're looking for
1. Relevant experience as a Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Rigger in the construction industry
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of rigging experience in the construction industry
3. Thorough understanding of rigging principles, techniques, and equipment
4.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
7. Current high-risk work licence for rigging
8. Construction Induction (White) Card
