The Accountant Role:

You’ll be responsible for assisting the accounting team to deliver high-quality compliance and technical support. The duties you will undertake will include (but not limited to):

- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns

- Supporting accountants with compliance work across individuals, companies, trusts and other entities

- Managing workflow efficiently across a high volume of jobs with strong attention to detail

- Undertaking research and assisting with technical accounting and taxation queries

- Providing internal support to client-facing team members to ensure excellent outcomes for clients





- Assisting with the completion of less complex group structures and compliance projects

- Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and the use of technology

- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

Skills & Experience

- Degree in Accounting

- 5+ years’ experience in public practice or similar role

- Strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles

- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly Desirable

- Experience working with SMSFs

- Experience in reviewing SMSF financial statements and compliance

This is a full-time role in our Gawler Office.
