What You'll Be Doing
- Providing person‑centred support tailored to individual goals and aspirations.
- Assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community access.
- Supporting participants to build independence, confidence, and social connections.
- Developing positive relationships with participants, families, carers, and the wider community.
- Promoting dignity, choice, inclusion,
and human rights in every interaction.
About You
- Has a genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
- Is flexible and available for a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, sleepovers, or active nights.
- Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Communicates effectively and works well within a team.
- Brings a commitment to respect, accountability, and person‑centred practice.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant clearances and certifications, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and First Aid/CPR.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a related qualification.
- Previous experience in disability, community services, aged care, or support work.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and person‑centred supports.
