Country Blinds & Flooring is currently looking for a Production Worker / Factory Hand to fill a casual position which involves a methodical approach and a desire to produce quality products with pride.
The role will include various manufacturing processes including the manufacturing of indoor blinds, curtains, picking & packing, stock control, quality control and warehousing.
Favourable skillsets :
- Basic hand and power tool skills (drills, impact drivers, grinders etc)
- Current driver's licence (manual driving skills preferable)
- Forklift licence
- Basic maths competency
- Basic IT literacy
- Great team player
The successful applicant must have a keen eye, attention to detail and an interest in learning a unique craft as quality control will be a large focus of the position.
Despite the casual status of the job, a 38 hour per week roster will be required. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but by no means essential.
