Rizi Steel is a small family business who provides a wide range of fabrication work in structural steel, mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Our work is diverse, fabricating for new and renovated houses, architectural bespoke steel and aluminium elements, truck body repairs, crane ties and skip bins just to name a few. You'll work on a variety of custom projects, so no two days are the same.

Our growing business gives us the competitive edge to provide clients with personalized finishes to customer specifications. Our aim is to provide our customers with high quality products/finishes with a fast, turnaround time. We also specialise in site welding and site installation work of structural steel and aluminium.

Leading Hand Key Responsibilities:

- Leading a small crew of boilermakers and trades assistants

- Co-ordinating daily work schedules, task allocation and site progress

- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all WHS procedures are followed

- Hands on fabrication and welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium components

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings

- Liaising with clients and supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery





- On-site welding and installation work

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

- Working efficiently to meet client timelines

What We're Looking For:

- Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator with leadership experience

- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Boilermaker/Fabricator is required

- Advanced level in MIG welding (TIG and aluminium experience highly regarded)

- Ability to read drawings and work independently

- Confident working independently and as part of a small team

- Comfortable with site work and varied projects

- Solid attention to detail and pride in your work

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

- White Card and current driver's licence preferred

- Forklift and EWP ticket

- Must have driver's license

- Australian work rights are required for this position
