Chef

Seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in Moe, Victoria with a Full-time position.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, performs well in a busy kitchen and can consistently prepare high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present meals to a consistently high standard

- Complete food preparation and service efficiently

- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation

- Minimise food waste and help manage food costs

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements

- Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen hands and front-of-house staff

- Assist with receiving and correctly storing deliveries

- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

- A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery,



or an equivalent qualification

- Strong food preparation and cooking skills

- A sound understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements

- The ability to stay organised and work efficiently under pressure

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude

- The ability to work independently when required

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

- Australian working rights
