- Complex payroll (domestic and international)
- Report to the Global Financial Controller

Our client has experienced significant growth in the past 6 months and is seeking a highly experienced payroll person to head up their global payroll. You will be tasked with the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with legislation. The role supports the business by maintaining payroll records, responding to employee queries and improving payroll processes, overseeing all payroll operations in Australia, Singapore and the USA.

Key responsibilities include:

- Processing end to end payroll for global operations (200+ staff)
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, salaries, overtime, allowances and deductions across multiple states and countries
- Calculate and process commission payments
- Validate timesheets and resolve discrepancies prior to processing
- Ensure adherence to relevant awards, enterprise agreements, Fair Work and tax legislation
- Manage superannuation contributions
- Process PAYG and statutory payroll obligations, including Singapore income tax reporting and US State and Federal payroll tax obligations.
- Maintain knowledge of payroll, employment, taxation and statutory requirements across all jurisdictions
- Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner




- Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations and month end processing, including tax lodgements, superannuation reconciliations, PAYG reconciliations, payroll clearing account reconciliations, benefit related reconciliations and other statutory requirements.
- Reconcile payroll data with GL accounts
- Manage the annual review and renewal of Workers Compensation/Work Cover
- Review and optimise payroll and commission structures

Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, with commission payments and preferably international exposure. You should have a strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements across Australia, Singapore and the USA (Fair Work, ATO, IRS, IRAS, 401k and Superannuation). Your experience interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements will stand you in valuable stead, as would your exposure to complex remuneration, incentive and commission structures.

You should have previous experience with payroll/HRIS systems (eg. Employment Hero, Rippling MYOB, SAP or similar) within a high-volume payroll environment. This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of a local success story where you can make a genuine difference.
