About this Opportunity
This is a hands-on Warehouse Manager role requiring a balance of team leadership, KPI management, and active involvement in daily warehouse activities. The successful candidate will lead from the floor, supporting the team where required while ensuring safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational KPIs are achieved.
This role is permanent full-time and will be based at our Wingfield site in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating daily warehouse activities to ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfilment while maintaining quality standards
- Lead, manage and coach warehousing team to achieve operational objectives and foster a positive workplace culture
- Driving Warehouse & Distribution teams and processes,
including inbound inspection, handling, warehousing, packaging, outbound processes and coordination with freight service providers and customers
- Overseeing safety across the warehouse, ensuring all operations are conducted safely, and employees are working safely in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Involved in the day-to-day operations across receiving, picking and dispatch with a hands-on approach
- Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock management and cycle counting processes
- Responsible for delivering operational KPIs and dispatch objectives to exceed customer expectations
About You
- Proven experience in supervising or managing within a warehousing and/or distribution environment
- Solid customer service focus with excellent problem-solving skills
- Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety compliance and chain of responsibility requirements
- Experience in using a warehousing ERP System
- RF barcode scanner experience
- Valid forklift and drivers licence
