About the role

Kelserv pty Ltd is seeking a Cleaner Housekeeper to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on housekeeping position based in Bateau Bay, NSW. As a Cleaner /Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and visitors, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising of rooms and common areas

2. Change bed linens and ensure guest rooms are clean, tidy and well-stocked with necessary amenities

3. Clean and maintain bathrooms to the highest hygiene standards

4. Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately

5. Spot clean furniture and upholstery as required

6. Report any maintenance issues or damage to management

7. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed

8. Follow all health and safety protocols whilst carrying out cleaning duties

9. Work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and targets

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a related hospitality role is highly desirable

2. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

3. Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights safely

4. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently

5.



Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

6. Solid communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors

7. Reliability and punctuality

8. A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one may be required depending on role requirements

9. Flexibility to work varied hours as required on a casual basis
