We are seeking an experienced Energy Supervisor to lead transmission line construction activities, with a strong focus on the assembly, erection and stringing of transmission towers. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining high safety standards, and fostering a positive team culture across a range of transmission line projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate transmission tower assembly, erection, stringing and associated construction activities
- Lead and mentor line worker crews and subcontractors across multiple work fronts
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements
- Monitor daily progress and ensure works are completed in line with project schedules, specifications and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections, safety observations and quality checks
- Manage site resources including labour, plant, equipment and materials
- Participate in project planning, look-ahead meetings and workforce coordination
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development initiatives
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
About You
- Demonstrated experience supervising transmission line construction projects
- Extensive practical knowledge of transmission tower assembly, erection and stringing activities
- Robust people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop crews in a demanding construction environment
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple crews simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Sound computer skills and the ability to complete project reporting and documentation
